Fitting subgroup
The Fitting subgroup F(G) is the largest nilpotent
normal subgroup of G — the product of the p-cores over all primes p. For
a solvable group it contains its own centralizer (CG(F(G)) ≤ F(G)). The
kernel of a Frobenius group is its Fitting subgroup.
